YOUR ROLE AT AIONEERS
As a Business Development Manager, you will be a key driver of our growth strategy, helping us expand our market presence and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive new business development by identifying and pursuing opportunities through market research, our existing account universe, and your own professional network.
- Leverage your established sales network to initiate and build relationships with decision-makers in our core industries.
- Confidently consult and close deals by presenting tailored solutions, leading negotiations, and delivering compelling proposals, presentations, and customer success stories that clearly communicate value.
- Understand client challenges, particularly in supply chain management, and demonstrate how our solutions deliver measurable financial impact.
- Analyze and report on sales performance, including funnel velocity and conversion rates, to support continuous improvement and alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Leadership Team to develop go-to-market strategies that resonate with industry-specific prospects.
- Report directly to the Head of Sales, contributing insights and recommendations to refine our approach.
YOUR PROFILE
You combine supply chain thinking with a passion for business development and the curiosity to explore what’s next.
What You Bring:- Supply Chain DNA — academic or professional background in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
- Proven experience in B2B business development: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in supply chain software sales or supply chain management consulting.
- Strong network of industry contacts and a track record of opening doors to key decision-makers.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into tailored value propositions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English (both fluent).
- Strong consulting and closing skills – you thrive on direct customer interaction
- Analytical skills for evaluating sales performance metrics and identifying improvement areas.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, hands-on attitude and a high level of self-motivation.
- Collaborative working style, comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Innovative AI know-how — familiar with AI trends and how they are shaping enterprise supply chains.
